Standard Chartered Marathon 2007…
After 33 years, I’ve done it. I’ve completed my first marathon and I must say, it was great!
I think I’ll do it again. In fact, I’m going to try to get more friends to run it with me this time. It is really quite fun. And seriously, it is not very often that you get major roads in Singapore closed just for a bunch of idiots to run.
There’s entertainment in the form of really lousy bands along the way. These really make you run faster. Then there’s also heaps of squeeky cheerleaders!
What I’d really like to see next year, would be people doing bungee jumping off the buildings along Shenton Way as I run pass. I think that you really be great.
