It was my first time in Vivo City last night. It’s a nice place, but I’m not particularly impressed by it. I mean, being the biggest shopping mall in Singapore is just about it. Big.I think Sentosa looks nicer at night anyway.
It was crowded however, considering it being a Friday night, not that crowded. The food outlets were packed though. It was as if Singaporeans are a bunch of hungry ghosts!
To add on to this experience, I caught one of the most boring show in recent history. A Mexican film by the name of Vera.
The plot summary from imdb.com goes something like that:
The story of an android that raises alive in the deepest caves of the mayan zone in México and meets and old dying man. They will stablish a spiritual bond than enlightens the old mayan and helps him to release himself out of his withered body.
Well, I was withering in my seat for a good 90 minutes and would have walked out if not the fact that I was right in the middle, sandwiched by five people on either side.
There was no dialogue, no soundtrack and a lot of poor acting. This was indeed a cutting edge movie.
