The Japanese are doing it.
The Chinese are doing it.
Even the Taiwanese are doing it.
Dressing down to reduce energy consumption. Here’s the idea. You wear less, so that buildings can turn up the thermostat of their air-conditioning. Hence, conserving the energy used by buildings. I don’t get this. So we are supposed to wear less clothing and hope that building managers turn up the temperature?
Why not building operators turn the temperature up first? This way people will have no choice but to take of their jackets, hence wear less.
I mean, what are these people thinking?
