Cows are being kept inside ‘bio-bubbles’ so scientists can measure gas emissions.
The University of California project will be used to help write the state’s first air quality regulations for dairies.
Cows are placed inside the bio-bubbles where monitors measure the gases that they emit.
It’s been estimated that an average herd of cows causes more pollution than a car.
But researcher Frank Mitloehner believes the problem may have been over-estimated.

These people from the US are CrAzY! They’d rather invest time and money studying the environmental impact of cow fart than to ratify the Kyoto Protocol which would likely bring down greenhouse emissions.
And what’s that guy doing in the middle? Getting a high from poo gas?

I remember the time in the 80s when CD prices were more than S$30 a piece. Not many places sell them. You had to go into Orchard Road to be able to find a CD outlet.
Then the prices dropped to about S$25 a piece. I thought, WOW! Finally, CDs at affordable prices. I used to save all my allowances during my national service days to buy CDs. I would buy a CD just for one song, one lousy fuckin’ song!
Well, I guess the facts are out now. We all know that a CD costs no more than S$0.30. If the artists gets paid US$1 per CD sold, who makes the other US$14 per CD?
I’ve been ripped off over the past 20 years.
Have you been RIPPED OFF?

East Coast Park, Singapore. On the 2nd July 2005, I found myself in a triathlon. The hot and humid conditions made it ideal for torturing oneself.
I completed the Sprint Category in about 1hour and 36minutes. I even managed to strike some poses for the photographer.

Till next time, (22 Oct 2005, New Balance Corporate Triathlon) when the Average Joes strikes again!
