So, I was in Granada, Spain. I stayed in this hostel called the Rambutan Guesthouse. Sadly, none of the staff could tell me what a Rambutan is. Well gals and guys, if you’re still looking for an answer, I’ve got it for you, an it ain’t a SEXUAL FRUIT.
You guys are in luck. It’s rambutan season now an I’ve managed to take a picture of a rambuten… eat your hearts out fellas!

I have cancelled my PacNet subscription at last! After more than a decade of subscribing to PacNet, I’ve come to realise that I’m paying these buggers for nothing.
Their email is so flooded by SPAM, I can hardly decifer which mail is not SPAM!
Then they added an additional service without my consent! They claim that it is for my good that it was added. called MailGuard, it was supposed to guard my mail from viruses… we’ll it worked like it wasn’t there! Viruses coming throught my PacNet mail account was more than visruses coming in from free email accounts like Yahoo! and Gmail. Guess that was the last straw!
After contributing $5.00 to them for about a decade! ($600!) It’s time to stop being charitable to them. I wonder how many fools are there… still hanging on to a service provider that really sux!
Here’s a special thanks to an ISP that served me so well initially but deteriorated into a pile of crap!

Here’s me getting totally bored waiting for a client to finish his meeting. The goggles were supplied by the security chap at the entrance. Well, it’s a spring factory, so I gues they wouldn’t want any springs flying into my eyes.
I am at the reception area. There is no air-conditioning. It is stuffy. And I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes (vente minutos). So chant with me… ‘the customer is always right… the customer is a mways right…’

Yesterday, I learnt that if you pay $9.90 for a flight to Chiang Mai, Thailand, then you’ll have to tolerate 3 hours of budget service (disservice) from the air crew.
Since you are paying minimal fare, the airline will have to find ways of squeezing every single cent out of you. This includes charging exorbitantly for the refreshments you buy and by using hard selling tactics to get you to buy alcohol. And I don’t mean one drink. These air sales people get you to buy the whole pack. (In this case, a 4 pack of canned Australian wine)
They have 3 hours to get close their sales! So after 3 hours of ‘Excuse me, would you like to buy a 4 pack Australian wine? You can’t get it anywhere else’ sales pitch… you are sure to end up buying something!
Oh, of course to increase their success of peddling overpriced ‘refreshments’, you cannot bring your own snacks on board.
My cousin was told that she cannot make milk for her infant daughter. When questioned about whether the plane also sells baby milk powder, the air salesperson kind of mumbled someting to herself and walked off… five minutes later, she’s back with the same line of harassment.
I guess in order for us to travel budget style, we have to also accept the fact that they trained their staff budget style too.
If you are a MacDonalds’ reject, you might wanna consider a job at Tiger Air… it is likely that they will accept you.
